Assistant Superintendent

With over 20 years of experience in education, Steven Cox has served in a variety of leadership and instructional roles across multiple levels of the education system. His professional experience includes positions as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, Chief Academic Officer, Program Coordinator at Region 5, and assistant superintendent. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to instructional excellence, organizational leadership, and student success.

Steven earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Lamar University in 2005, followed by a Master’s degree in Education in 2007. He completed his Doctorate in Education at Lamar University in 2014. His diverse background in both education and finance provides a unique perspective on academic leadership, strategic planning, and effective school system management.
